Smoke 'Em If Ya Got 'Em
The purpose of this post isn't so much to actually discuss anything as
it is to leave something for a google search to get a hit on.

I finally found a couple of US-based online cigar merchants who will
ship outside the US. I had so much trouble that I thought it might be
useful for future generations of gaigins to leave the info where a
groups search would give them a quick pointer.
Today I received a package from www.phatash.com: Good selection, rapid
service, fast FedEx delivery, discreet shipping label that breezed
past Customs.
They carry stuff way out of my price range, but good bargains can be
had on bundled stogies.
I got:
Roly Bundles (Puros Indios Seconds): #2 Maduro
Bundle of 25 for $19.95
Pedro Martin Nicaraguan Bundles: Toro
Bundle of 25 for $19.95
Don Rex Bundles: Lonsdale
Bundle of 20 for $15.95
As you can see, about a buck a stick is my limit.
I'm enjoying one of the Indios right now. It's the first actual
handmade cigar I've ever had, and I've already figured out that the
bottom-of-the-barrel handmade stinkers outclass the typical
machine-made national brand crap.
Another online cigar merchant that ships to Japan is
www.neptunecigar.com
I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but they also have a very
extensive selection, and their site has a much more user-friendly
interface than www.phatash.com
