Well, their writing style is likely no better, but the places they review are all pretty good, and they give you a good breakdown of menu selections, prices, crowd expectations, etc.. The places that aren't good apparently don't make it into the paper, so when they review a cheap place, you've got a gem. UnFORTUNATELY, I told my wife about their review of Kin-no-Saru in Inogashira, which is one of the YYY places. A good place, to be sure. Oh, and VERY occassionally, they have an article about cheap (for Japan) wines. Mike
