Yea his pride is unfortunately a factor here but I've seen the way he's 
reacted in various threads over the years...this is his typical MO.  I'll 
admit the sub-thread is silly but the occassional silly thread is why I read 
Usenet.  Nevertheless, I did have to call him on his BS.
