Data are always nice. Still, I noticed similar thing WRT LA a few
years ago; the "data" available indicated that there was, indeed,
less pollution, but there was more actual fog from the coast, so the
sky was actually less clear, though cleaner. Too, the beaches
were cleaner of plastic and garbage, but there was far more washed
up seaweed and dead sea-critters as well.
All in all, a much higher class of detritus.
