  That's the *strong* impression I got nearly 10 days ago, and is
why I responded to Helen's reply like so:

  There's also far too large a mix of idioms that would only be said
or written by someone that has spoken English for many years, as
well as the many atrocious English flubs excused only by someone
completely new to the language who also has not had any halfway
decent instruction.  Also, how likely is it that such a clueless
newbie would show affiliation with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd
and display ircprofessional@eudoramail.com as an email address in
the header, whether fake or real?  I suspect that aNdY is having a
DaNdY ole time, and is in no danger of making the most important
buying decision of his life. :)
