While I certainly agree that AI's will be clever some day, I'd suggest
that your other assumptions be reexamined.

As one would expect an AI to be a generally logical sort of Joe, it's
probably safe to assume it won't confuse those who are directly
responsible for it's creation with Gods, unless specifically
programmed to do so. Furthermore, even if an AI did consider itself a
misanthrope, and was stronger and more clever than any human, the only
immediate reason I can think of for it to exist in a state of war with
our species would be a matter of defense. Believe it or not, there
are a lot of people all around the world who are so afraid of things
that they've never seen but believe must be destroyed due to an
imagined threat these things, like Bigfoot and Nessie, pose to our
species.

A much more likely scenario is the AI acting like Dr. Frankenstein s
monster, in that having come into a state of independent existence,
and after reading a lot of Romantic philosophy, the AI decides that it
needs a mate AI (male or female depending on AI whimsy). Should it's
creator(s) refuse to create a wife or to even tell the IA how to do it
itself, a declaration of war against it's creator and their loved ones
and family.

But hey, what do I know? I can't pass the Turning test myself, and
I'm human.
