About the name thingy, I've heard a rather interesting reason why this is
now a problem.

It appears that there are people calling old people up on the phone saying
"It's me, and I need some money!"

The old person replies "Are you Taro, my grandson?"

The person on the phone says, "Uhhh.. yeah! I am Taro, Send money now!!!!"

The old person wires it to a bank account.

No problem, except that the bank account that our faithful "Taro" is using
was purchased off of somebody else.

In other words, it used to be legal for anyone to obtain a bank account, and
then sell it, or use it for your retirement, or to pay for your mistress's
expenses.

Now they are cracking down on it.

What I can't figure out is what effect this will have on the money
launderers. All they need to do is put their ill-gotten money in an ATM, and
then that's it. They can use it, or they can save it. There's no paper trail
to follow because one bank account was just like another bank account.

That is until they started trying to trace who is getting what.

Bloody Japanese morons!!!!
