Well, I visited her a lot at the hospital where she got it in the 80s :)
And she was a good sport about letting her friends check out her healing
progress

Actually, very positive -- and interested in seeing more of it!Alas, I
couldn't for the life of me find any material on-line where Misato's scar
was *clearly* visible.  It's as if once it was established in the series
that she had suffered some sort of massive wound, then all the art was
geared towards ignoring it.  Then again all professional pictures of my
friend (she does some modeling and acting on the side) also manage to
conceal *her* scarring quite effectively.
