Crouching maybe to receive shocks less fiercely like for an emergency
landing of a plane ? In case the whole building falls.
Kevin can laugh but little gestures can make a huge difference. My aunt and
a few dozens of people had to jump from the 10th floor of a building in
fire. Unfortunately I don't know
exactly how it is but there's a way to fold on yourself to avoid getting
hurt. The firemen explained it. My aunt didn't (couldn't) do it, she broke
her neck, spent the next 2 years at hospital and can consider it a miracle
she was not paralised forever. The other persons had only light bruises.
