母が食料品店から帰ってくると、彼女の息子は
彼が欲しがっていたアニマル・クラッカー（動物の
形をした固焼きビスケット）の箱を取り出した。
それから，彼は動物の形をしたクラッカーを調理
台一面に投げ広げた。

『何してるの？』と母は尋ねた。

『シールを剥がさないと、クラッカーは食べれません
と箱に書いてあるんだ』と少年は説明した。
『僕、シールを探してるの』
