The Mayor's office of Special Events and Blues University coordinate a
night of live blues at 8 of Chicago's most famous blues lounges, on
Saturday, January 13, when the Winter Delights Chicago Blues Tour kicks
off the Winter Delights Festival. The night begins with a special
Acoustic Blues Party at the Chicago Cultural Center's Randolph Cafe, 78
E. Randolph. The advance party and check-in is from 5 p.m.to 6 p.m.,
with buses boarding beginning at 6:30. The tour's shuttle buses connect
8 venues featuring 10 live blues bands all night long, and the ticket
includes all transportation and admission charges. Music start and end
times at each club vary, and tour guides on each bus help attendees get
the most music out of the evening. Maps and a schedule of bus routes are
provided.

Hothouse, 39 E. Balbo in Chicago's South Loop, is the "hub" of the tour,
and will feature continuous live blues with Chainsaw Dupont & the Blues
Warriors, as well as Super Percy and the Soul Clique. Buses continue on
their scheduled routes until between 1:30 and 2:30 a.m.
