Wow, it was a guy. Does he get his ass kicked often?

But at least I was right about the audience. Since it's written for a fellow
Japanese, unless her English is quite good you should probably keep it
literal, so she can figure out what it means. Especially, keep the word
"dream" -- I'm sure she'll know that word.

And I still recommend the lavender girlie handwriting.

Of course, the tricky part is do you clean it up enough so that after it's
been framed and hanging on their living room wall for 10 years, some snotty
English teacher without much tact doesn't stroll in and tell them what lousy
English their prized romantic thingamaboobie is written in...
