Asuka's mother suggests that, even if a soul can't be copied, it
CAN be divided; and the parts continue to function - but not
well - afterwards.

It may be that Lillith's soul is in EVA-00, in Rei, AND in
her body in Central Dogma.

Which could explain why the first two seem so odd...
