How long was that still shot with Eva-01 and Kaoru? Methinks money was
getting _very_ short by that stage :-)The TV ending does look, well,
cheap. EoE is the cosmological spectacular ending that the series
deserved. A bunch of people saying 'congratulations' to Shinji is a
bit of an anticlimax after all that buildup to Third Impact...
