Actually,  Males are XY and Females are XX,  each give a chromozome when 
creating a child,  The Female side can only give X, where the Male side 
can give either X or Y, which defines the gender, (X Female, Y Male)

Could this be the reason on why the clones are females? I wonder what 
could happen if a new born gets two YY chromozomes
