A young boy and his father got in a car accident. The father was killed
instantly but, although the boy had serious life threatening injuries, he
stood a fairly good chance of surviving assuming he received immediate
medical attention. He was taken to the hospital emergency room, but the
surgeon on call walked in, took one look at the boy and said, "I can't
operate on this boy, he's my son."
