Question about Rice cookers...
We cook a lot of rice ...
We are about to wear out our second 12 cup rice maker... the non stick
liner starts peeling/ starts sticking
While in the market I noticed that some of the Newer rice cookers are also
PRESSURE cookers and would like to know the difference between those and my
standard vented rice cooker.
We use mostly Brown Basmati rice, with an occasional traditional sushi
rice...
Some Pilafs...(drop in an onion soup mix & some oil)
No sticky or sweet rice...
We like our rice slightly sticky, but still individual grains....
Would we gain anything by getting a pressure rice cooker next time? Do they
cook brown rice any faster?
Thanks
Bob
