My father fought against all sorts of people in Vietnam that
officially weren't fighting until years later. He was there in 1960.

What I find interesting is that some people will distrust the
government to tell the truth about so many things (particularly
related to Vietnam where it is well known the government lied and/or
hid facts quite liberally) except for the times when it isn't
convenient for them to do so. This is what I dislike about Rush and
his ilk; they're hypocrites, just like all the rest of us, but won't
admit it (which is also like a lot of us as well).
