Well perhaps it might help if you were to understand that I consider myself
a conservative too, depending on the subject matter. In any event, you might
want to relax a little bit. I'm sure Rush could probably hook you up with
something to calm you down...

Talk shit about conservatives? I engaged in little more than a some playful
teasing of Kevin by using what I thought was a rather obvious cliche. In
fact, being laughed at was kind of the whole point, actually. Once you are
done taking yourself so seriously, you might give laughter a try. When I
talk about what a ridiculous policy it is for Bush to suggest that the
constitution needs to be amended to "protect" marriage, for example, that
will be an indication that I'm being serious. When I make sweeping
generalizations in the midst of teasing someone I consider a friend, that
might be an indication that I am, ummmm, just kidding...
By the way, since you seem to missing the obvious, let's take a quick look
back at what may not be so obvious.

You do understand that I work for a very liberal law firm called Morrison &
Foerster, whose fairly well known nickname is "MoFo" right? (the nickname
"MoFo" was featured on Jay Leno a while back, and is even the subject of a
Trivial Pursuit question.) But even if you didn't know all that, and thought
I was referring to the abbreviation for mother fucker, how is it that you
took offense at my referring to "conservative mofo" as an oxymoron? Wouldn't
you *want* "conservative mofo" to be an oxymoron, or do you not know what
oxymoron means either?
