I also own a Toshiba Satellite A45-S1202 with a rather
crazy problem. I'm a Dj that uses the portable for mixing using
Virtual DJ. For months was working beautifully, until one day I
noticed that the DJ software started lagging. I thought that maybe
was because the mp3's that I was playing were corrupted. I've
stopped using the portable and took it home to check it. The system
overall performance was really slow. Installed PC wizard in order to
check the amount of processes and the temperature. Everything looked
normal, only noticed that the CPU temp was a little high (not really
high, was about 71 C). Decided to verify if the heatsink was
clogged, it was... Cleaned it, added new thermal grease on the
processor and restarted the system. The system was running normally,
CPU temperature was 36 C, I was thinking that the problem was solved,
but no! As soon the temperature raised the system started lagging
again. :(

Now I'm scratching my head wondering what happened... The fan is
spinning normally and can feel the airflow at the back of the
system...

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance
