I was going to post a line-by-line deconstruction of this letter, but
I decided not to bother - however, the next letter you posted is the
sort of thing I've been often tempted to write... I don't know why
Japan Times, etc, keep printing his stuff as his writing style is
pretty poor, and his one-trick pony must surely be due a visit to the
glue factory.
Reading "The Community" Debito fan-club mailing list, though, I'm
really impressed by the willful ignorance that he and his hangers-on
have for any facts or arguments that might get in the way of their
world-view - a classic yesterday was someone inventing a statistic of
their own to illustrate his opinion that MoJ's crime statistics were
invented.
