The laptop says it'll work with PC2700 or PC 2100, doesn't mention PC3200.
And where is it cheaper? The places I looked it was the same price, About
$70 for a 512MB stick of either and about $30 for a 256mb stick of either.
I'd just get the PC2700 since you know it would work no doubt.
