Oh, by the way, I cannot use water during blackout. This building
uses an electric powered pump to distribute water. About telephone,
my modern telephone combined with fax machine does not work either.
Lack of water doesn't affect my biz. Luckily I have an old half-
broken toy phone and that works more or less during blackout hour.
But, just think about this from the perspective of a small business
owner who are not supposed to be in a disaster zone, should compete
against others who might be just a kilo meter away from him but in a
blackout exempted zone and does not have an option to move out like
me. Three hours blackout for three days out of five and 6 hours for
two days (40%) for him during biz hour; none for others. Even the
electric bill will not be discounted. Its not a joke.
Ah, yes. Maybe I wrote too much about biz. As I wrote, some
hospitals are in blackout zone and I think I hear screaming from them
other than the noise of diesel generator while people in blackout
exempted zone can turn on their air conditioners whenever they feel
like it.
