Some of you may remember Mark McBennett, long term Irish resident of Japan (Tokyo then Nagoya) and producer of japan-zone.com amongst other things. I drove over to meet him tonight as he is leaving Japan after 22 years (partly to say goodbye, mainly to obtain his dishwasher!, and score a nice printer to boot). It is always sad to say goodbyes. I'll never really get used to it.
