The 'Gainax judder' is pretty infamous. It features on every single
scene transition of every single episode. It's one of those things
that will either bug the hell out of you to the point of being unable
to watch, or you will hardly notice it after a while...

People have tried to justify it by saying that Hideaki Anno did this
deliberately in order to give the viewer a sense of disorientation
that mirrors Shinji's mental state, but in reality it was due to poor
production values.

I wish that I could turn back time,
'cos now the guilt is all mine.
Can't live without
the trust from those you love.
I know we can't forget the past
you can't forget love & pride,
because of that, it's killing me inside.
