It seems you are looking for a service that will accept unneeded books and pay for shipping charges. Sorry, I don't know of any company that does this. The first place you should consider for unneeded books is the local library. Often there is a shelf where canceled titles and donated books are placed. Blue Parrot Books, a used-book dealer in Akihabara and Takadanobaba may be interested in the computer books and Japanese texts. http://www.blueparrottokyo.com/ Nomad Kichijoji accepts travel books. http://www.nomad-books.co.jp/ For other bookstores see online list Bookstores in Japan: http://www.geocities.com/evelynleeper/jp-misc.htm Better-known book regional recycle services: Tsukuba Some information on book exchanges in the ALIEN TIMES: http:/www.alientimes.org/ Osaka Asia Library and Hon-no-Mori: http://www.geocities.com/evelynleeper/jp-osaka.htm#awaj Kumamoto Kumamoto City International Center (http://www.city.kumamoto.kumamoto.jp/) and Kumamoto YMCA (http://www.kumamoto-ymca.or.jp/center/kokusai/) host foreign book exchange facilities.
