25 years ago the number of fake teachers was much higher, but companies were
already happy when the face was western style and he/she spoke English.
2 years ago I saw somebody's degree which he brought with him from Manila.
However, it didn't help him to land a job at a university since it is easy
to verify everything via the Internet.
Fake degrees can be had over the Internet by Visa card... but they are good
to show off among friends only.:-)
