How to turn off grey text in textbox?
Hey, how's it going. I've got a problem I hope someone can help me with. I
am running visual basic 6 pro. ed. and having trouble with a textbox. I have
set up the textbox with a light brown background and a dark brown
foreground. The textbox is visible and locked, but if I disable it all my
text goes grey. It seems the only alternative to keep my text dark brown is
to enable the box but then the user can highlight the text. I want the box
simply as something to be read with NO user interaction except the scrollbar
(which is working - no problem there!) I dont want to have to change the
default colours for Windows disabled text. Is there a simple solution to
this problem? Help me Obi Wan Kenobi - you're our only hope!!
