Got this one in my email... Any comments???

I'm writing to alert you and the PC Users Grop about what seems to me to be
very questionable action by AT&T Jens, which is my primary ISP (I also use
ASAHI-NET).

For the second time in less than two weeks, AT&T Jens has blocked all
OUTGOING e-mail containing an earthlink.net address. In response to my
series of complaints to AT&T Jens about this, I received the following
message.

"We regret to inform you that there are some restrictions on "earthlink.net"
again since there were so many spam emails sent to our email servers from
"earthlink.net" domain, and it was lifted
on June 18, 2005.

"However, a large amount of spam emails from "earthlink.net" domain is
constantly sent to our email server.

"According to circumstances of our email servers, there is a possibility
that we are obliged to reject "earthlink.net" domain to prevent the overload
of our mail servers."

I'm not very computer-knowledgeable, but it seems to me that Jens' blocking
action makes no sense at all. This is like punishing the victim of a crime
instead of punishing the criminal. It might be reasonable to block all
incoming e-mail that has an earthlink.net address - provided of course that
AT&T Jens also is contacting earthlink.net to attempt to deal with the
problem., but I'm not even sure about that.

I have requested to be contact by phone by a high-level, English-speaking
AT&T Jens manager tomorrow. If that doesn't happen - or if that person is
unable to satisfactorily explain why Jens' blocking action is necessary, I
will feel obliged to cancel my Jens service. (Another reason for canceling
Jens is its outrageous
