Playing AVI files on normal TV?
Somebody gave me tons of vintage and other rare movies on a HDD. I can watch
the stuff on the computer, but I'd like to watch it on my big TV. Of course,
I can recode the AVI files and produce DVDs. However, this is too tedious
and time-consuming.
Somebody told me the he saw a "box" in Akihabara that can do the trick. All
you need to do is putting the HDD into the box and connect the Audio and
Video plugs to your TV.
Unfortunately this person didn't know where the shop was and neither the
name of the gadget. The price (without the HDD) is approx. 17,000 Yen.
Anybody uses one or knows where to get it?
