週刊新潮なみですね。というか日本のマスコミが奥歯にものが挟まった記事を
書いているうちに海外に先を越されてしまったようです。

Since telling officials they wanted to continue their activities 
in Iraq, the three Japanese hostages who were freed last month 
have been getting a roasting at home. Their backgrounds have been
