I am sure they wanted the gaijin to hear how Japan suffered as well. Did I
ever tell you that the first place they took me upon picking me up at the
airport, straight off the plane, was the A-Bomb Museum and memorial, to get
the tour in English (they provided the English narration tape). This was
also before the renovation to show a little of the Japanese aggression in
Asia.
