$35 millions is less than 1/3 of $28 million? $35 million is about half
of $40 million? Is that the new math I read about in the papers sometimes?

Funny how a former UN secretary is taking the US to task for doing too
much to help, thereby showing up the UN.

I'd be interested to do if the numbers you are citing are just state
funds or also private contributions. If you are simply citing government
monies, your statement is false. The UK pledged $28 million while the US
pledged $35 million. Which part of this article is false?

If you are taking private contributions into account, the UK government
offered $28 million, while private Britons donated an additional $68
million. In the US, one private company alone, Pfizer (an evil,
moneygrubbing pharmaceutical company) has pledged $35 million in money
and medicine. That's just one evil corporation, mind you. I don't know
how many more millions of dollars other evil corporations have pledged,
but the following article states that $29.9 million have been received
from American citizens as of today.

$35 million + $35 million + $29.9 million = $99.9 million. For
simplicity's sake, I've ignored the resources that the Pacific Command
is expending in the region.

I hope I don't detect a Gotha rejoinder.

Oh, and how about that dude shirt? w00t.
