I'm not exactly an expert on such matters having faithfully stuck with
IDO/AU for almost 7 years.  That said, it's a rare occasion when I lose my
signal. I have to be a good 5 - 8 km up into the mountains before I'm cut
off.  I think Brett knows a bit about 'coverage' and getting 'cut off'....
