Make sure when you move into the new place you take photos of every bit of
damage.
Thats what I did when I was living in a shit hole.
Then you have it all on record, also if your going thru a licenced bandit
sorry I meant Estate agent
get him to write it all down and sign it, so when you leave you wont get
asked about the 10 year old dents in the walls.
The house I am living in now has water damage by the sliding doors, this is
a family house and its taken 15yrs for it to get like it.
I used to do antique restoration so I know its not hard to cover up. A bit
of wax some stain and a good buff will do the trick.
They have all ready seen your damage so its all probably too late.

And thats another good point. There must be a lobby group for these types of
things.
I imagine all sorts of landlords do this to tennants.
Its bad enough having to pay key money but to then get your deposit held
back just makes my fucking blood boil.

Im sure the activists at Debito.org would know of such things.
