FilmForce is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter !!!) is
under serious consideration for the role of Shinji in the new live
action Eva movie.

I'm just glad to see the gears are turning on the production. He just
doesn't seem capable of the necessary self-hatred, tho'. Twould be
great for publicity, on the other hand. On the other hand, he might
act the movie into disaster. On the other hand... where is my third
hand again?
