I guess I am using the word "colonize" in a sense that there's a 
dominant power that is/was not from or part of the native people.  You 
got me on Thailand - although both the British and French have attempted 
to colonize it.

Yes, historically I blame caucasians for much of the agression in the 
world - both past and current.  They just don't seem to like people of 
color.
