Addresses 0 through 7 - 0 is the PS3 itself, and 1-7 are the controllers.

Sports games?  Have your entire gang play as the opposing sports team 
against the computer?  You could even tag players in/out with that many.

If Sony were smart, I wonder if they could allow the PS3s to talk to each 
other, over this connection, allowing for you to have 2 or more teams of 
friends huddled around their own TV playing the same game?

Or maybe you could use multiple controllers together - like my idea of 
using a gun controller and DDR mat to create a shooter in which you would 
literally walk around and shoot things.  Maybe throw in the Eye Toy so you 
can duck & roll as well.   Now think if you and a friend could do this.  1 
camera, 2 guns, 2 DDR mats.  There you go - that's 5 "controllers" right 
there.
