Well, partisan comments aside, one central clearing-house for
information about US absentee voting is

In most cases there is still time to send in a request, get a ballot,
and send it back. Some states even allow voting by fax or E-mail, but
you must send in the ballot request right now, and by the fastest means
available, as most states have a deadline for making the request. If
you make the request before the deadline and don't get a ballot in
time, you can use a federal write-in ballot and send that instead, but
you must request the ballot before your state's deadline in order to be
eligible for the write-in ballot.
