I need some advice with web page hosting and a registered public domain
name.

Well, when I started a coffee shop over 6 years ago, I signed up with a
company in the US which handled the registration of www.livechat-cafe.com. 3
years later I sold the shop, and the new owner carried on with the same
hosting company. I paid with my credit card and got reimbursed afterward.

One week ago, a new situation had evolved. The web page was suddenly not
accessible anymore, and so has the hosting company. I don't mind it since
there are only 3 months left to the renewal. The new owner of the shop wants
to get a Japan based hosting company since she wants to handle everything in
Japanese. This step is no problem, but.
the domain name is apparently registered somewhere else (until the end of
this year).

What needs to be done to tell the new hosting company where to access this
domain name?
The Japanese hosting site (I was told) allows a new subscriber to sign up
and test it before finalizing everything.
The Primary Servers (1 and 2) and their IPs were provided. The domain name's
parameters need to be typed in to make it work.
Any ideas how to proceed?
