this could mean next decade as in between now and the next ten years.
OR he could mean the next decade as in this decade is 2000 - 2010, and
the next decade is 2010 to 2020... ya know.

Either way its a while off. And i'm sure that we'll finally get that
full on 'live' experience then. LOL.

I really think that upping the ante as Sony is doing this generation;
by coming later to the battle with more cutting edge hardware, they
will extend the life of the coming console. So where we are used to 5 -
6 year difference in generations, we will see PS4 further down the line
possibly at 6 - 8 years. and PS5 at 7 - 10 years. However on the flip
side of that Microsoft is rolling the dice hitting the market early
with less "umph" under the hood. MS's only defense this time around
will be price drop after price drop. In current waters where the
graphics shoe is 'technically' on the other foot, Sony still leads the
market. Xbox had the power, online and off, but still never really
exceeded the expectations of us all. Microsoft is primarily a software
company. I expected them to come with something more than just Halo.
Halo was great, but it never did push me to buy an xbox. I even told
myself that i'd buy one once the price went down to $150. Still hasnt
happened. The looming next-gen has alot to do with that now i guess,
but i guess you could say xbox just never really brought the pain as
much as all xbox-believers thought it would. I am certainly one to keep
my eyes and ears on the target. And right now, i just dont see anything
in the 360 that makes it look like the better purchase.

If anyone here wants to give me the reasons they are purchasing a 360,
please do. Other than buying one to sell it on Ebay for a profit. I
just dont see myself buying one.
