Onna! took place on Columbus Day weekend in Newark, NJ, attracting
about 750 attendees in a weekend dedicated to women and the many roles
they take in the comics and animation industries. Onna! programming
included a manga talent contest called "Be Discovered at Onna!" in
which finalists had their work critiqued by professional comic artists
Paige Braddock and Tania Del; Rio, and representatives from manga
publishing companies, DramaQueen and ALC Publishing.
