I thought it would be impossible to get off on every single charge, but
as in the OJ case, I knew the legal system made it incredibly difficult
to convict. In Maikeru's case at least, I doubt his so called star
power or having high priced lawyers and a plethora of celebrity defense
witnesses won it for him. There were just too many problems with the
accuser and his mother to be 100% believable, despite whatever I
believe about Maikeru and his past conduct. Victims who want to be
believed beyond a reasonable doubt shouldn't be so openly enjoying
other people's money or using their influence for their personal gain
as the family was seemed to be doing, to open themselves to accusations
of being grifters.

I wonder how they'll fare in a civil suit, if any.

And it really is sad what's happened to Maikeru since his "Bad" days.
