I was at the bookstore tonight and saw this title:

I had a look inside and thought the English read like a Japanese guy
wrote it, but I see it was a gaigin's book. By the same guy was:

Which had one phrase (I forget which) translated as "...up shits
creek...", which ain't the way we say it back home!

The BYJW wasn't impressed, and wanted to buy:
